How to automate get commands in yangcli-pro or yumaBench GUI

I am trying to find a way to live-plot certain state-parameters. For now , in order to get the value of a certain parameter i should either refresh the monitoring tab in the GUI or send a sget command from yangcli-pro. What if i want to do this in a loop ? to continuously and automatically refresh the values and somehow access them with a python script or store them in a csv file ? is this possible. Are there any features of the yumaClient that i am not aware of and do this job? If not, do you have any Ideas for a possible work around?
