      I understand how to get operational data from my device. I understand how to send configuration data to my device when a commit occurs.

      But what if I have, say a brand new device, and I want to send the whole configuration database to the device to initially configure it.

      How would I do that? Can it be done thru NETCONF?

      You need to use the copy-config operation to copy a whole database

      Thanks for the quick response. But unfortunately, I didn’t see any callbacks in my SIL being called. I need to capture the configuration and write it to the device. Thanks.
